Community Guidelines

The Globfolio Chatroom works because members treat each other with respect and share honestly. By joining it, you agree to these guidelines and the Chatroom rules below.

The Chatroom rules

1. Be respectful. No insults, harassment, hate speech or personal attacks.
2. Stay on topic: Nigerian and US stocks, fixed income.
3. Nothing shared here is personal financial advice. Do your own research: you are responsible for your own investment decisions.
4. Keep Globfolio private. Do not copy or share alerts, portfolio holdings, courses or Chatroom messages outside Globfolio. Shared content can be traced back to your account.
5. No spam, adverts, referral links or promotions for other services or groups.
6. Do not post false or misleading information, or rumours meant to move a share price.
7. Protect yourself. Never share bank details, passwords or one-time codes. The Globfolio team will never ask for them.
8. Links from newer members are checked by an admin before others can see them.
9. Breaking these rules can lead to a warning, and repeated warnings lead to a suspension.

How we moderate

• Admins and moderators can delete messages, hide words, mute members and suspend or ban accounts that break the rules.
• Messages containing restricted words, such as scam phrases, are blocked automatically. Repeated attempts lead to a temporary mute.
• Broker conversations belong in the Nigerian stocks and US stocks rooms.

Keep yourself safe

• Never share account numbers, passwords, card details or one-time codes.
• Never send money to anyone you meet in the Chatroom. Globfolio staff will never ask you to.
• Report anything suspicious to support@globfolio.com.
